And we are back again….

Hey y'all, sooooooo....training anyone?!

We start back on;

Monday 13th September for Judo

Tuesday 14th September for Karate

To start with things will remain as they were, while we see how schools go back. As before students will need to block book their spaces each half term. Ideally it will just be students in the dojo, but I do understand that in some cases parents need to as well.

To any potential new students, at the moment most sessions are full but do get in contact if you are interested and we can put you on a waiting list. I will be giving first priority to students who were training just before the summer holidays, then if there are spaces I will let people know.

I hope everyone has had a fantastic summer and I do apologise that I never got round to organising any summer training classes. Hopefully I will see all those who were training before the summer holidays back in the dojo so we can carry on where we left off.

The half term fees are on the photos.

PLEASE NOTE - if you block booked sessions before the summer you are owed one session as I had to cancel the last one.

Therefore for Pee wees knock off £3

For juniors & Teens knock off £3.50

It will be good to see everyone back, have a good first few days back to school and all that….Jack

The Warriors Are Back 26.04.2021

Please note the change in times…

Since putting out the below post, we have had such a demand for Karate places that we have had to put on a third session already. The photo of our schedule is the most recent version of our sessions.

And back in our Dojo of St Teath school! Well it's been a while and we still aren't quite there but we are much closer. Sessions are back, just not quite how they were for several reasons.

The good news…We can now go back to how we taught karate and judo before all this to our under 18 students - with contact.

The bad news...Over 18's sadly no classes for you yet.

The changes...

I'm bringing fewer sessions back to start slow, but with room to add sessions in as we need them. With only students 12 in a session to start.

Judo is moving to a Monday and Friday-Karate is off.

Your training time may have changed, as sessions times have changed. See our timetable to the left. If these changes result in you no longer being able to make training then please contact me.

Get in contact regarding booking students in for sessions & thank you for your support.

The Warriors

At The Traditional Warriors Dojo we teach Aikido, Shotokan Karate and Judo with classes for children and adults in the village of St Teath, North Cornwall.

The Sessions are run by Sensei Jack Procter who has been training in martial arts since 1999.

Whether you are a young or slightly more aged beginner, we seek to give you the best experience of what martial arts has to offer. With a supportive group who are all willing to help you learn.

There is no need for any prior knowledge or fitness to start. Check out what each martial art entails in our ‘Info’ section above.

Personal Training

From developing your martial art to biomechanics, personal training can cover many areas not just the well known '“fitness’ aspect. There are many reasons for someone to do a personal training session but the less obvious areas are things such as;

  • Gaining better posture and movement to take away the aches and pains

  • To develop better coordination

  • Building a better understanding of your body and mind

I work with many people from the age of 6 to adults helping them move better using aspects of martial arts, biomechanics, functional training and more to develop them.

Having worked in schools for many years I have developed approaches to help those who need more nurturing in their physical abilities which often transcends not just in to sports but everyday movement such as balance, coordination and concentration.
